Wildfire burning in nationwide forest about 60 miles west of Fort Collins


A wildfire is burning on nationwide forest land about 60 miles west of Fort Collins, forcing evacuations of close by campgrounds.
The fireplace was first reported at about 1:45 p.m. and it’s at about 500 acres and rising.

The Cameron Peak hearth is burning within the Arapaho Roosevelt Nationwide Forest west of Chambers Lake, in line with the Rocky Mountain Space Coordination Middle.
The Chambers Lake Campground has been evacuated voluntarily, in line with the Larimer County Sheriff’s Workplace. Evacuations have been ordered for residents and companies within the space.
