Three killed, three injured in rollover crash on Interstate 225


Three individuals died and three others have been severely injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 225 Saturday.
The crash was reported at about 4:19 p.m. on I-225 northbound close to Parker Highway, mentioned Colorado State Patrol Trooper Josh Lewis.
A girl in her mid-20s was driving a 2004 Ford Explorer with 5 passengers when she misplaced management of the SUV, over-corrected and went off the best facet of the street, rolling the automobile 3 times, Lewis mentioned.

The motive force and a person died on the scene, Lewis mentioned, and second man was taken to a hospital the place he died. A 20-year-old man, 35-year-old man and a lady have been hospitalized with severe accidents; the girl’s accidents are life-threatening, Lewis mentioned.
Each alcohol and velocity are being investigated as potential causes of the crash, he mentioned. The motive force and the 2 males who survived the crash have been carrying seatbelts. The opposite three passengers weren’t carrying seatbelts, and all three have been ejected from the SUV throughout the crash.
The SUV, which is designed for 5 individuals, was overloaded with one additional individual.
