A wildfire burning north of Wolcott has closed Colorado 131 in each instructions and huge air tankers are dropping hearth retardant.
The Alkali Creek hearth began Friday close to the four Eagle Ranch, in response to the Eagle County Sheriff’s Workplace.

Colorado 131 is closed from U.S. Freeway 6, simply north of Wolcott, north to State Bridge close to the four Eagle Ranch, the sheriff’s workplace stated. There isn’t a estimated time of reopening.
