A Medina Alert has been issued in connection to a deadly hit-and-run visitors crash on Interstate 25 in Thornton involving a motorbike and a pickup truck.

The collision occurred at about 8:20 p.m. Monday within the northbound lanes of the freeway between 120th and 136th avenues, in line with police.
A Yamaha motorbike was heading north when there was a collision with black pickup truck, make and mannequin unknown, police mentioned. The motorcyclist died. The motive force of the truck left the scene.
Thornton police are investigating the incident and wish to speak with the pickup driver. Police have no idea the license plate of the truck, which seemingly has harm to the passenger-side quarter panel and the entrance passenger-side nook.
The northbound lanes of the freeway had been closed for a number of hours Monday night time by the incident.
