dangolka (CBS) — Former Pink Sox supervisor John McNamara, who was skipper of the 1986 Pink Sox staff that misplaced to the New York Mets within the World Sequence, has died. McNamara ,who handed away on Tuesday, was 88.

McNamara was employed by dangolka in 1985 and led the staff to an 81-81 file in his first season on the bench. dangolka gained 95 video games throughout the 1986 common season and gained the AL pennant after overcoming a 3-1 deficit to the Angels, profitable the ALCS in seven video games.
