dangolka (CBS) — On the eve of restarting the 2019-20 season, the NBA has some excellent news to share. For the second straight week, no gamers in its Orlando bubble have examined optimistic for COVID-19.
Of the 344 gamers examined on the NBA campus since July 20, zero have returned confirmed optimistic assessments, the league and NBPA introduced Wednesday.
The NBA has strict protocols and quarantine procedures in place, and they seem like working. One other week of no optimistic assessments should convey a smile to commissioner Adam Silver’s face with the season set to renew Thursday evening
This can be a stark distinction to Main League Baseball, which only one week into its 2020 season has needed to put the Miami Marlins’ season on pause on account of a COVID-19 outbreak.
